Java Cryptography Extension Policy

Due to export restrictions, the Java execution environment is delivered with strong cryptography but a limited key length. The limited key length poses a security risk, as it may lead to insecure communication.

To overcome this limitation, we recommend installing the Unlimited Strength Java(TM) Cryptography Extension Policy Files. Once these policy files are installed, Java is permitted to use strong cryptography without any restrictions.

These files can be obtained from Oracle for the specific Java version.
