While the Orchestra Runtime executes the communication scenarios created in the Orchestra Designer within a productive setting, the Orchestra Monitor offers real-time insights, status tracking, and diagnostics for these running scenarios.
It enables administrators and operators to observe process flows, monitor message exchanges, and quickly identify potential issues, ensuring smooth and reliable data integration across connected systems.

Backward Compatibility
Soffico emphasizes the importance of backward compatibility in the development of Orchestra. To facilitate this, the Orchestra Customer API is provided. This API serves as a layer that encapsulates access to internal functions, thereby ensuring backward compatibility when utilizing direct Java API calls.
If users have implemented direct access to internal functions within their own Java classes, mappings, channels, Java activities, etc., this function may be bypassed. Consequently, backward compatibility for scenarios supported by the Orchestra Customer API may not operate correctly with older or newer versions of Orchestra. This situation does not indicate a malfunction or defect.
To ensure proper functionality during a version upgrade, it is essential to employ appropriate quality measures. This includes establishing a test environment where the functionality of Orchestra and the installed scenarios can be evaluated during the upgrade process.
