Scenarios Overview

A scenario can be considered as a kind of project container. This means, a scenario contains all required components such as process models, channels, mappings, etc. and as well as their specific configuration. Components may be:

1. Channels

2. Mappings (e.g. format conversion)

3. Message Types (description of message structures)

4. Process Models

5. Environment Entries

An entire interface may consist of one or multiple scenarios.

Orchestra has an integrated transport system based on scenario deployments. With this feature it is possible to develop and test an interface independent of the runtime environment, as well as deploy the interface on any runtime environment. This deployment contains all required elements which are necessary for operating the interface.

The scenarios available in the Orchestra runtime can be administered, deployed, updated and removed.
